There is an honest police officer named Richie Roberts who has dedicated own life to mitigate all of those cases regarding the drugs. The movie surrounds with the activities of Lucas. Another major plot point of this movie is the failure of marriage of Richie. American Gangster (2007) can be considered as a biographical crime film. However, it is fictional biography of Frank Lucas, who is a gangster from North Carolina. There are several instances produced that clearly reflect the fact that Lucas has tried to bribe Roberts. However, such practices have been failed. The movie has turned into an unexpected curve when Richie watches one of men of Frank has almost killed his girlfriend (García-Mainar, 2013).
